On Thursday, May 19, 2022, a special lecture was held for doctors and nurses from the three central hospitals(Mithaparp Hospital, Setthathirat Hospital, and Mahosot Hospital) covered by the SAFER project .
The lecturer was a doctor from Khon Kaen University, Thailand, and the lecture topics were on “cardiac arrest” and “severe trauma” in Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
Both of topics are frequently addressed in EMS.
*Lecture topics were solicited from Laotian students, making the lectures more meaningful to them.
We will continue to properly assess the needs of Laos and similar lectures will be held periodically throughout the project period.
