Laos Rescue Team’s operational status survey and comprehensive exercise were conducted(2024年03月10日)

In February 2024, Japanese experts visited the five rescue teams targeted by the project to check the status of their activities, provide ambulance ride-along training, and conduct a comprehensive exercise (medical rally) on the simulation of an emergency case.

During the activity status check, interviews and workshops provided a valuable opportunity for the Japanese experts to hear positive opinions on the future activity policy and situation improvement of the rescue teams, and to reconfirm the significance of the project implementation and future issues to be addressed.

During the ambulance ride-along training, Japanese experts went to actual emergency scenes to check the rescue team’s on-site response and to provide advice.

In the comprehensive exercise, rescue teams participated, and each team responded to emergency scenarios such as traffic accidents, multiple injuries, and so on.

The response was evaluated and feedback was provided by Mittaphab Hospital staff and Japanese experts, and the teams competed for the top position.

The comprehensive exercise is held once a year under the auspices of Mittaphab Hospital, and is a valuable opportunity for the teams to work hard and compete with each other.
