On July 26, 2023, the annual debriefing was held with the Lao Ministry of Health, Mittaphab Hospital, Mahosot Hospital, Setthathirath Hospital, local emergency rescue teams, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Ministry of Security, Vientiane Metropolitan Government, Telecommunications Management Bureau, University of Health Sciences of Lao PDR, and Lao Telecom.
It has been two years since the SAFER project kicked off in July 2021.
At the meeting, with less than a year remaining until the project’s completion, participants actively exchanged opinions on issues such as sharing and discussing issues toward the start of operation of the Command and Control Center (CCC), promoting the use of the ESS system, and the operational structure after the handover.
