Seven medical directors(MDs)* received training for one week at Khon Kaen Hospital in Thailand. The command and control centre (CCC) in Khon Kaen, while not exactly the same as the operational system in Laos, has many points in common, and it was a fruitful opportunity for the trainees to get an image of the CCC operation and reconfirm the role of MDs.
Of the total of 8 trainees, one trainee had to postpone her participation due to personal reasons.
