T-CReDOでは医師、研究者の皆さんの研究成果の事業化を支援するトレーニングプログラム「Research Studio」を実施しています。 今回ご紹介する BioMarin社はカリフォルニアで22年前に創業し、希少疾患治療薬を中心とした製品開発で成功しており、 現在は血友病の遺伝子治療候補品Valoctocogene Roxaparvovec を開発中です。また、Sr. DirectorのAoyagi-Scharber氏にはBioMarin社の 先進的な提携戦略についてもお話いただきます。 お近くの関係者の方々にもぜひお声がけいただき、多くの皆様のご参加をお待ちしております。どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。

T-CReDO is providing a course of training for physicians and scientists who are willing to commercialize their research achievements through startups. To learn the real case of startups, we requested a lecture to scientists from BioMarin, which is one of leading biopharmaceutical companies from California. They launched a series of products for rare diseases into the market from collaboration with academia and now evaluating Valoctocogene Roxaparvovec as a potential gene therapy, product for Hemophilia A in clinical trials. In the lecture, Dr. Aoyagi-Scharber will provide current strategy for collaboration of BioMarin for the potential collaborations with academia.
